Panama Metro Line 3

Seven months ago, the Panama tunnel boring machine finished excavating the section of the tunnel up to Balboa: it was the penultimate phase of the feat of putting the train under the Panama Canal. Now it’s about to reach the final milestone of this part of the project: this month it will break through the final wall of the tunnel in Albrook. Once it does, the machine will be dismantled.
