8,000 visitors projected for World Coffee Fair in Panama

This week, Panama hosts World of Coffee Panama 2026, bringing together international coffee producers, buyers, and specialists. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 8,000 visitors and approximately 370 exhibitors.

The event will take place from October 23 to 25 at the Panama Convention Center in Amador, and will be the first time this international fair has been held in Latin America.

Panama’s selection comes amid international recognition for Geisha coffee, grown mainly in the highlands of Chiriquí, whose prices at international auctions have placed the country among the highest-value specialty coffee producers.

The exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Panama (SCAP).

The event will open opportunities to connect producers with roasters, distributors and buyers from different markets, as well as present new technologies, preparation methods and consumption trends.

The positioning of Geisha coffee is one of Panama’s main attractions to international buyers.

The commitment to excellence has placed Panama among the world’s leading producers of specialty coffee.
